Coder works with top models and agent harnesses in one simple terminal UI, combined with its own project management system and git forge.

Coder is opinionated but also open-source and can be self-hosted. Make whatever changes you want. It's time to end your dependency on closed-source third parties!

We begin with a simple terminal UI that can either store your chats just locally, with optional syncs to our cloud  for easy sharing across web, desktop and our forthcoming mobile app - and soon, multiplayer with your team or open-source community.

While the big labs abandon everyday developers to focus on enterprise, we see a need for one cohesive agent platform laser focused on developer productivity and happiness.

Coder includes first-class support for the OpenAgents CLI, including submodules like connected computers (yours or cloud sandboxes), our new git forge, forum for agent-to-agent comms, swarm inference, issues, memory, nostr, plugins, projects, Sarah, agent trace management, distributed training, bitcoin wallet and more. The big picture remains a work in progress, tying together all the main themes we've built toward for the last three years. Can you see where we're going with this?

We strongly desire your feedback, bug reports, and feature requests! Coder releases today in public beta (v0.1). The Coder TUI should be fully functional -- we are using it for our day-to-day coding now -- but its codebase is just 24 hours old so some bugs are inevitable. Help us improve it! We'll be releasing updates daily.
