He is daring the Cards to trade up for Ty Simpson.

reply

or take Ty #3 lol

reply

Some people comp Simpson to Purdy so he sounds great to me. Raiders should probably take him at 1. @Undisciplined

reply

I think purdy is Ty’s best case. Sneaky mobile, accurate, needs to win with decision making and can thrive with a good supporting cast

but could also just suck lol

reply

Nobody would have said that Purdy was even his own ceiling during his draft year, if that makes any sense as a sentence.

reply

yea most would think he’s not making the team based on his draft position. more so a game style comp

reply

I landed him in round 2 of a mock draft last night.

Traded back with the Jets, who took Mendoza, and took Reese at 2.

Coming away with Reese and Simpson and a future Jets 1st wouldn't be a bad draft haul.

reply

you overestimate the Cardinals competency

reply

I probably do. I didn't notice how bad they've been for over 70 years until you pointed it out.

reply

they’ve had minor stretches of competence. unfortunately timed with when I got into watching football and saw a live game during their SB run

Kurt Warner, Carson Palmer / Bruce Arians, and the first few Kyler Murray years they were a good team. otherwise a lot of dysfunction

reply

I think they largely get a pass because there are usually much more embarrassingly terrible teams at any given time. They never seem to hit the lows of the Browns, Jets, Lions, or Bengals.

Spicy.

I don't think he falls to round 2. Jets or Cards will trade up for him. But if you don't want Mendoza. You can trade your second round pick to the 49ers for Mac Jones.

reply

I think Reese is risky. Shades of Isaiah Simmons

reply

Or trade for Cousins

reply

too late! he is on a 5 year deal! lol

reply

Is he the most mediocre player to ever holdout?

reply
reply

I didn't realize his record was so bad. It seemed like he was playing alright.

reply

he was good for my fantasy team

reply

it might be the only time in his career he has any amount of leverage

reply

yea, what? bizarre, really
