I was thinking about reincarnation and something occured to me that i never thought of before
If I come back as a person, animal, insect or thing
Then have I taken the place of that entity, that would have lived that life?....or
Am I ALL the people, ALL of everything?Am I ALL the people, ALL of everything?
Now I'm thinking that this entire world is built for me to experience every life
And so I am you and you are me but we don't know that I am living both of our lives simultaneously
Only when I die do I recieve the instruction to begin another life, inferring that there is a creator, a higher power who is orchestrating and guiding me to begin another experience, until i have completed all humans, past, present and future, all animals, all things, everything
Now obviously the time you percieve as a 3d human cannot conceptualise how i can live multiple lives all at once, but also one at a time
And what I'm realising is that, if i have an argument with someone on the street, if i fall out with a friend, a disagreement at work
All conflict is self harmAll conflict is self harm
I am just arguing, fighting, hating myself
So today as an experiment I acted as if everyone was me, what i noticed is that when someone did something that upset me, i didn’t take offence because they are literally me
I rarely get upset anyway but nothing annoyed me, it felt very liberating
The question is, am i coping massively because i can't explain what this reality, this consciousness is
And are you living in your own universe built just for you, that is parallel to infinite universes built for everyone else?
If we as a planet realised we are just one consciousness, the wars would stop instantly but what keeps us separated and divided?

Borders

Makes you think 🤔 i wonder if there are powers that don't want us to cooperate
Deep for a Thursday 🤣🤣🤣
This is one of the Brandon Sanderson religions - I forget of it was from the Mistborn or Way of Kings series. Practitioners of this religion believe everyone is collecting different experiences, but they're all ultimately the same being. I thought it was rather fun.
Lovely post!
You will enjoy this short story, "The Egg," based on very similar ideas. Cheers!

Thinking of everyone as “me” reframes conflict in a radical way. Makes me wonder if empathy isn’t just a hack our brains invented to simulate this idea on a smaller scale.
