When I was heavy into SportsCenter and college football I was a big fan of Lou as a commentator. I knew he coached Norte Dame but when I think of him I have pleasant thoughts.

I had a Lou Holtz signed football for many years that I gifted to a friend last year who attended ND And would have appreciated it more for his man cave.
Man, 89 years is a long life. I always enjoyed hearing him on SportsCenter and college football — he had a great way of calling the game. RIP Coach.
