Stop on in folks! The first wave seems to have hit critical areas like the Supreme Leader lives was the first area hit.

The second wave is currently ongoing with the target intelligence headquarters, the presidential palace, and other key facilities across the city.

American officials are saying these is expected to be an extensive and smothering operation meaning many many waves to keep Iran unable to respond while taking out critical targets.

Ships are able to give an extra layer of surprising fire to keep retaliatory strikes from being able to be executed.

Welp republicans won’t win the midterms or the 2028 election.

MAGA is dead

Already was

So much for the no debt, secure the border, and no more forever wars.

Besides freeing Ross this administration has been a massive disappointment

reply

Since I've been politically aware, there hasn't been a single president who wasn't a huge disappointment

reply

Disappointment is sort of on you for having expectations of more than you got.

reply

I was young, I bought into the dopey Hope and Change stuff

reply

It's more of a mixed bag than normal, but this definitely sucks

reply

Dang man.

Don't acts of war need to be authorized by Congress or something?

That's a good one! I'm still waiting for that Vietnam declaration. Where's little Marco? Wasn't he visiting his boss in Israel?

reply

He isn’t declaring war and that’s what both sides of the aisle have used. Strikes whether limited or wide spread fall into a grey zone that no one know what to do.

It makes sense that the president could take out a terrorist leader ASAP just because Congress will drag it out but wide spread like this… I mean it’s such a gray zone

ah... the democracy years were nice... nowadays they just call it special military operations and go on. :?

reply

Clearly they don't need to. America has been engaged in military conflicts for eight straight decades without doing so.

Guys, it’s happening. First wave hit key spots—including where Iran’s Supreme Leader lives. Second wave now targeting intel HQ, the presidential palace, and other major sites.

From SOTU (this week):

“I ended eight wars…”
“…Israel and Iran…”
“…the war in Gaza, which proceeds at a very low level.”

From today (same week):

“massive and ongoing” military operation
“major combat operations” in Iran
“that often happens in war”

‘Ended wars’ guy started more.

'Ali Vaez, an Iran analyst at International Crisis Group, said the idea that American and Israeli bombing would trigger a popular uprising in Iran is wishful thinking.

“There is no modern precedent for regime change achieved through air power alone. Bombs can degrade infrastructure. They can weaken capabilities. But they do not manufacture organized political alternatives,” he said.

“History shows external attack tends to consolidate regimes, not topple them. Nationalism kicks in. Dissent gets branded as treason. Space for opposition shrinks,” he said.'

Iran and Iraq were once the nation of Persia.

The British/west broke Persia up in order to better be able to divide and rule over the different religious groups and factions within this oil rich region.

The nation state boundaries of the entire middle east and Africa have been drawn up by the power brokers of Europe and the US on order to gain resource hegemony.

The nation state and its power projection capacity is the primary determinant of the wealth of nations.
