I had some leftover inventory after doing the WAGMI holiday baskets, so I made a new storefront to sell it all.

It's a complete PWA that you can install on your phone.

Once you've put your shipping address in, which is stored locally on your device (no account, not even nostr!) making a purchase is just a matter of making a couple taps.

Scan a Lightning QR to pay.

It's stupid simple, very convenient, highly private, and quick. I'm proud of the experience.

Free shipping on everything until tomorrow 2/21.

Try it!

This is an experiment I'm running today and tomorrow. All orders will ship out on Sunday, and then I will suspend the store until further notice.

Video overview:

This is awesome. Sort of obvious question, but the address still has to be transmitted to you, it's just being stored after printing the label, right?

Storing data locally makes the experience faster since there's no waiting for a server to load.

Privacy-wise, because there are no identities and no accounts, a user can choose to change their name and address anytime and there's no connection. For example, to a different PO Box with a different name. I would have no idea that 2 orders belong to the same person.

So it's just as much an experience thing as a privacy thing...the privacy benefit came for free.
