Qerko offers several ways to integrate with cash registers / POS systems.
Sometimes Qerko connects to the existing API of the cash register, other times it's the cash register that connects to Qerko's API (which is the preferred method).
Finito could theoretically support the same Qerko API, but that's not on the agenda right now and Qerko API is badly designed. Finito already includes its own POS. Plus, I'm still working at Qerko. Finito is targeting smaller merchants and also the whole world.

How does Qerko integrate with the POS systems that restaurants use? For the open source project, are you also planning to integrate with those systems? What's the most complex problem that Qerko had to solve?
