Welcome to Books & Articles Weekly. When cross posting began, I made an offhand remark that I doubted anyone could create a single post that would have the highest zaprank in all four of my territories. Well, @SimpleStacker proved me wrong! I will talk more about this in a separate post, but be sure to read “ Can a bitcoin standard improve animal welfare? An analysis” below:

Other top posts include @denlillaapan’s latest “Capitalism Book Club” discussion, and @billytheked’s non-book club book club. Do I detect a trend? Also, check out my road trip posts. The final chapter will be out in a day or two.

I should also mention that this is the 100th edition of the Weekly, although I tend to mess up my numbering and the actual count may be different. Regardless, it’s been fun for me. I look back and see the sheer volume of quality material and wonder if people might be digging around, discovering gems, a few hundred years from now.

There is a zap award for the top 5 posts weekly. It will be broken down as follows:

I like reading everything @ek writes, so I’m excited to see that he’s back at it. I hope and assume there will be more where this came from.

I am so glad that Stillstackin made this post. I am hungry for good bitcoin related fiction, so I’m going to read this as soon as I finish “King Leopold’s Ghost”. I have to thing it will be less depressing, at worst.

It is rare that the latest Chapter Of UnPhiltered doesn’t crack the top five posts, but this was a weird week. Check it out if you haven’t already. Each post is worth your time.

I know I got carried away with my suggestions this week, but there were many good posts. I included this one because I am glad to see that Den is writing for Mises.org again, Den’s writing is top notch, as usual, and the subject matter interests me. Enjoy

Wow, almost didn't read this because I thought I was pinned because of my old poem. Thank you for the nice words!!

There's more where that came from, but I don't know when it will see the light of day. I struggle to find time to write while getting into protocol development :/

I also find my own writing quite boring; I think I'm mode collapsing as described by Henrik Karlsson here. I want to change what I write or how I write, but change does not come naturally.

100 years from now, I suspect people will view our era in a similar way to how we view the discovery of alcohol by American indigenous peoples. I think they will call this a dark age, when 99.9% of people were drunk on the promise of ai and wasted its potential.

~BooksAndArticles will be a valuable artifact.

VERY doubtful my musings would ever amount to that sort of importance. Nice try, tho!
