No Lebron!

Where’s King James 👑!

reply

He chose to sit out during last season's All Star Game. Why should he be selected as a starter if he doesn't even want to participate? Besides, yes, he is still playing very well considering this is his 23rd season, but he is far from being one of the best players in his conference. Not having LeBron as a starter makes perfect sense.

reply

Agree. I do think he should be an all star though. I am fully in favour of legacy selections for all time greats.

reply

I was just being dramatic lol

reply

First time in 21 years he didn't get selected as a starter. I am sure he will be on the team.

I just saw the announcement video on YouTube. It feels different not having EJ and the guys announce this. And I didn't like the fact that the lady host thought there were only 4 players when she announced the East starters. Looked very incompetent.

reply

One of the East starters will be on team international, so there really are only 4 East starters for now.

reply

Except that there are 15 starters this year and they aren't dividing them up by East and West. The NBA is so bad at this stuff.

Here's what it should look like:

Team Foreigners
Jokic
Giannis
Wemby
SGA
Luka

Team America East
KAT (probably)
Jaylen
Cade
Maxey
Brunson

Team America West
Bron (probably)
KD (probably)
Kawhi (probably)
Ant (probably)
Steph

reply

They probably announce 5 from East and 5 from West because players likely incentives tied to being selected as starter from contracts prior to when the NBA decided to change the all star game every year.

reply

Maybe just stick with two teams then
