I think this question has been on our minds for a long time, brought to the forefront by none other than Martin Scorsese with his pronouncement: “Well, the industry is over.”
To be honest, it scares me that cinema is dying, that art is dying…
But is this even possible? Is creativity over for humankind?
And now Netflix has reached an agreement to buy Warner Bros., HBO and HBO Max for $82.7 billion.....

I think it's nothing like it was in previous years. Television and cinema have always been a major source of mental programming and propaganda. And in recent years, it has become worse. On the other hand, in the past, we used to see good adaptations of plays or books. Today, this is almost non-existent; most of the content we find is repetitive or simply focused on putting a message into our brains.

Those companies are not the art and are not owners of it, they are producers selling entertainment. Art cinema was and always will be niche art. Cinema and other arts can't die, they die only if humanity goes away.
