That snake is venomous, right? I admire the cat's fearlessness, but you know the old adage- curiosity killed the cat.
The venom is considered weak for humans because it is opisthoglyphous and its toxin is mild, causing at most pain, swelling, and itching, but not serious effects. However, it can still pose a risk to cats, especially if left untreated.
